The body is high quality fiberglass with great attention to detail and workmanship. The paint is metallic British Racing Green with some very minor paint defects including several small pebble chips on the front fascia. The interior is black and green leather with Avanti script embroidered on the seats. Many of the original interior components were recovered in real leather for a luxury feel. This Avanti is powered by the stock 2002 Trans Am 5.7 liter multi-port fuel injected V8 (the LS1 model). Great power, mileage and easy servicing are related to the GM foundation. With the factory-installed Magna Flow exhaust system, power is well over 330 hp (and it sounds great, too! ). Factory equipment includes an automatic transmission with overdrive, 4 wheel disc brakes and Hi-Tec tuned suspension.
