It receives its fuel via an Edelbrock 1408 two-barrel carburetor, and breathes through dual 2.25-inch exhaust pipes fitted with Flowmaster 50 mufflers. New items beneath the hood include new, repositioned engine mounts, hoses, ignition wires, spark plugs, a new battery, new starter, new alternator, new belts, new fuel pump, and a new electric fan cooling a 1955 Chevrolet radiator.
