1968 Chevrolet Chevelle for Sale
This was not a âthrown together buildâ This was my second Chevelle build and after doing the first one I had learned so much I wanted to do it again, only better. The planning, execution, and effort was all in pursuit of building a long lasting, reliable, and fun car. Complete frame off restoration including panel replacements, partial floor/trunk pan replacements, firewall/dash replacements/repairs. Panel/door/hood and deck lid alignment is tight and consistent. 3 coats of color, 3 coats of clear, wet sanded and polished. This paint job looks poured on. Custom front badging (5.3L) matching original design. Badges were late so some pictures show original 307 badges. Currently showing one side mirror. Engine is a 5.3 liter LM7 from an â03 Tahoe with the 4L60e 4 speed automatic transmission. Engine was dyno tuned to 299.4 wheel horsepower. (wanted to round to 300 but hey, gotta sleep at night). Custom seats and console. All new original style reproduction interior panels and accessories. Retro looking audio system with Bluetooth, power amp, and sub. Sounds great.
