1981 honda cbx1000 with only 86 original miles this bike was in a tech school it's whole life until I bought it. It is all oem original the tires still have nubbs on them and no cracks. It has the original battery it has not ran since it was placed in the school was put away and stored only to be looked at there is nothing missing except for the saddle bags which I do not have. Over the past several months were corrected many items that were incorrect such is a long tip muffler nuts bolts hardware rebuilding the carburetor painting it black and installing the correct one year only carburetor mounting bracket chrome parts etc. all oils and filter flushed and changed and greased. Fired up on 4th kick after sitting for many years runs as it should. I have all documentation and a clean title. Originally it was fitted with a Turbo engine but that engine didn't even last 1,000 miles and a new engine was installed. I do have a set of uncut side covers that I will include in the sale, they are a slightly lighter red though. The whole bike has 4,895 miles and was only ridden a few time a year up until 1994 when it was parked in the garage. Recently I have put in a new battery, changed the oil, cleaned the carburetors and flushed the brakes.
