With a cast-iron block and three main bearings, a compression ratio of 9.0:1, the engine received its fuel from a pair of SU carburetors and was rated at 105 horsepower. the engine in this car has received

a full rebuild less than 2,000 miles ago, along with a new clutch and starter. It’s said to start properly with the manual choke engaged, and idle smoothly when cold, without smoke. The four-speed manual transmission is described as shifting well, with no noises of protest.

the powertrain is free of leaks. The engine bay includes a chrome rocker cover and performance air filters for the carburetors, and is impressively clean.
