But when I knew for sure that this bike had been ridden scarcely and was parked for most of it ’s life, was the fact that the wire connectors from the alternator/generator sitting inside the transmission cover were clear and soft, almost like new. Anyone who knows what I’m talking about will probably agree that these are in most cases burnt black and hard from the engine heat. I had to do little to the engine but replaced the top end gaskets and seals for good measure and gave the head a thorough cleaning and re-seated the valves and replaced the valve stem seals also for good measure. The bike runs fantastic, smooth and with lots of power and the unforgettable throaty exhaust note of an early CB750. It comes with a new Honda K1 seat and a new K0/K1 exhaust that I purchased from Japan.
