For sale is my absolutely beloved 88 VW Westfalia.
This has been one of the most enjoyable vehicles I have ever.EVER owned! This van is one of the nicest unadulterated Westfalias that i believe is currently on the market. I searched high and low to find a clean rust free van. Once i found this one i totally went through it to get it ready to
where me and my family could jump in it anytime without hesitation and go across the country! This van is clean from top to bottom. Engine purrs like a kitten. Trans shifts very smooth and strong. Definitely does not need a subie or any kind of engine swap.
This van will run 70- 75 down the highway easily. Does not smoke and does not use oil like many of these vans do. In between oil changes i have never had to add oil. Van ruins very straight down the road, steering is very tight. Here is a list of all the mods and new parts that have been put on the van. Last Owner said he:1: Had updated stronger auto trans installed with larger external cooler.2: Had new exhaust system installed with
stainless muffler.3: Lift kit with new coils and mercedes wheels wrapped it BGF all terrains4: Africa style front grille with upgraded round headlamps5: Appears someone along the way also installed the upgraded coolant lines that run from engine to front of van Things I have done:1: New rear axle assemblies/boots2: New coil, fuel pump, injectors, plug wires, plugs, Bosch upgraded air box with upgraded air meter 3: New window tint 4: various new seals and grommets all over van5: New PRO-PEX propane heater system (Awesome upgrade for those cold winter nights, keeps van nice and hot)6: New Truck Fridge upgraded refrigerator (Way outperforms stock unit!) 7: New front and rear offroad bumpers with
rear swing away racks.
