Bartel's Auto Clinic - Oswego | Oswego, IL 60543

A Family Owned and Operated Business Since 1958! Family owned by three generations of dedicated business owners and mechanics, the Bartel's Auto Clinic history dates back more than half a century. It was 1958 when family patriarch, Robert "Bob" Bartel, began working with his father-in-law and owner of Howard's Standard in Villa Park. Upon his father-in-law's passing, Bob Bartel took over the operation. In 1965, after a tornado devastated the original Howard's Standard, Bob reopened as Bartel's Auto in 1966. Bob built and ran his business on the value of integrity, and consequently, his business flourished for 30 years. Bob's eldest son, Patrick Bartel, joined his father in the family business in 1979. Utilizing Bob's business philosophy, they were successful in opening and operating five more Bartel's Auto locations. In 2004, Patrick's son, Adam Bartel, joined the ranks and played a major role in opening Bartel's Auto Clinic in Oswego, in 2006. Bob Bartel passed away in 2011, just a year shy of seeing Bartel's Auto Clinic open in Plainfield. In 2015, Amy Bartel joined the family business and began contributing to the marketing and accounting departments. Creating a solid partnership, Adam and Amy will continue the Bartel's legacy by providing leadership and guidance to the Bartel's Management Team with the aspiration that Bartel Enterprises will continue to thrive and prosper.
