<p class="description-text about">My name is Steve Rich. I purchased All County Automotive in June of 2006. My love for diagnosing and repairing mechanical challenges started in my seventh grade metal shop class. My shop teacher taught me how a lawn mower engine worked, by the end of the year I had repaired over 15 small engines. Then when I was fourteen years old my father bought a broken down Camaro for my older brother, that was when I started repairing cars. My father and I removed the motor of the Camaro and rebuilt it completely. In high school, I joined auto shop and won the top award for the highest score in the state on our vocational test. I graduated high school in 1991 and started at Broward Community College in the General Motors training program. The GM training that I received was incredible. I graduated with an Associates In Science degree in 1993. It gave me the knowledge to fix any problem on any vehicle. Shortly after graduating I earned an ASE Master Technician Certification. I also became the youngest Oldsmobile master technician ever. Since then, I have been constantly striving to continue learning and forwarding my career in the automotive industry. At All County Automotive we handle all kinds of automotive and truck repairs. More importantly, we take care of people. We understand your car or truck is your livelihood. Our founder Gary Love, his wife LaRee, and his 16-year-old son, Rodney, began by selling tires & batteries out of a rented grain silo and installing them on the back of their 1970s Dodge flatbed truck. From the beginning, Gary & Rodney had a vision of building a family & community-oriented tire shop with values of integrity & customer service. Within a couple of years, they established themselves at our present location, and we began to expand our services. We began replacing belts and brakes, performing oil changes, and performing 4-wheel alignments. Eventually, Countryside Tire & battery gave way to Countryside Auto Care, and our vision expanded to become a family & community-oriented Auto Repair shop, rather than just a tire shop. Countryside Auto Care meant a lot to Gary, and even as his health started deteriorating in the late 2000s, he continued to come in and visit with customers and help where he could. In 2014, he and LaRee sold the business to Rodney, and shortly thereafter Gary passed away. The business continues to be family-owned to this day. Today, our mission hasn’t changed, but we have grown to be a full-service Auto Repair and Car Maintenance shop.
